Shobu Aikido Vermont was founded in 1992 by Sensei Ralph Malerba (5th dan), a founding member and senior student at Shobu Aikido of Boston under William Gleason Sensei. The dojo continues under the direction of Todd Trzaskos (3rd dan), a founding member of Shobu Aikido Vermont and senior student of Malerba Sensei.
