Martial Art Styles The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Zulu Boxx Mixed Martial Arts Club: Brazilian Jujitsu Jiu-Jitsu (Jujutsu/Jujitsu) Kick Boxing Krav Maga Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) Muay Thai Programs & Class Schedule DESCRIPTION OF TRAINING PROGRAMS KRAV MAGA- KM is the official self-defense and hand to hand combat system for the Israeli Defense Forces, Israeli Security forces and Israeli Anti-Terrorists Units. It is taught and used by many law enforcement agencies such as the FBI, DEA, US Secret Service, and various police agencies such as the FBI, DEA, US Secret Service, and various police agencies. KM is a reality based fighting system designed to teach self-defense in the shortest amount of time. Classes train for real life situations with practical and intuitive techniques that can be learned quickly and used by anyone regardless of size, age, sex, or previous training. KM trains people to function under high stress and shock of a sudden violent encounter. KM incorporates self-defense, fighting, punching, elbows, hammer fists, kicking, and knees, ground fighting, and defenses against weapons. KM training will get students in prime physical shape, toning muscles, and greatly improving their strength and stamina. MIXED MARTIAL ARTS MMA- A great mix of martial arts programs from boxing, kickboxing, grappling arts and ground fighting, and Filipino martial arts techniques FMA. Designed to be proficient in all ranges of fighting (striking, clinch and ground). MMA STRIKING AND STAND-UP- Train how to take, defend, and deliver a hit while standing up and clinch. Focus of the class is to enhance your stand-up form, body position, movement, clinch work and striking. You will train to deliver professional strikes with your hands, legs, elbows, knees, and head, and also defend against strikes. MMA GRAPPLING AND GROUND WORK- Train on ground fighting. Focus on different ways of prevention on going to the ground, to break fall on the ground, ways to get up and be ready immediately, and different attacks from the ground such as chokes, arm bars, pins, and striking. MMA FIGHTING/SPARRING- This program is designed to train and give the student knowledge, and experience to spar against many fighting styles. Students will train techniques from boxing, kickboxing, mma, and ju jitsu, and will incorporate techniques in live training during sparring. COMBAT CARDIO/CONDITIONING- Program designed to perform in the most stressful situations. Will increase your stamina, strength, and cardio. Fast paced and timed will advance the student to the next level in conditioning. Will get the student into ultimate fighting shape. TRAINING SCHEDULE Monday 5-6 pm: MMA Striking and Stand-uo 6-7 pm: Krav Maga 7-8 pm: Combat Cardio/Conditioning 8-9 pm: MMA Grappling and Ground Work Tuesday 12-1 pm: Krav Maga/MMA Grappling and Ground Work 5-6 pm: Krav Maga 6-7 pm: MMA Fighting/Sparring 7-8 pm: Combat Cardio/Conditioning 8-9 pm: MMA Grappling and Ground Work Wednesday 5-6 pm: MMA Striking and Stand-up 6-7 pm: Krav Maga 7-8 pm: Combat Cardio/Conditioning 8-9 pm: MMA Grappling and Ground Work Thursday 12-1 pm: Krav Maga/MMA Striking and Stand-up 5-6 pm: Combat Cardio/Conditioning 6-7 pm: MMA Fighting/Sparring 7-8 pm: Krav Maga 8-9 pm: MMA Grappling and Ground Work Friday 4-5 pm: Krav Maga 5-6 pm: MMA Striking and Stand-up 6-7 pm: Krav Maga Saturday 10 am -11 am: Combat Cardio/Conditioning 11 am- 12 pm: Krav Maga 12 pm- 1 pm: MMA Fighting/Sparring Sunday Privates available
